Moose asked me what it was. He didn't think it was too bad for a quickly rolled out sugar cookie. "Cake" I told him. Then he said it was my turn to laugh at you a bit.
I am going to blame it on your oven. Clearly, that is an uneven heating and temperature regulation issue.
